The business is growing, as well as the PAC team! We are looking for a new team member, a Protection Automation & Control Engineer with a good sense of humor. Someone who is able to enforce our engineering and commissioning team on energy & substation automation and distribution & transmission grid protection with knowledge and experience. The Protection Automation & Control Engineer will work on the engineering, realization and commissioning phase within the project team.
Within our projects the Protection Automation & Control Engineer will discuss technical issues with sales and other project engineers. The engineer will report to the project manager considering progress and technical commitment with the customers. Together with the team, the engineer will provide technical documents and setup the hardware for configuration and technical tests. During the factory acceptance test (FAT) you will guide the customer through the systems and answer their questions in close collaboration with the project manager. During the commissioning period, you will be the responsible engineer on site, taking care of the commissioning issues and successful site acceptance tests (SAT). Doing stand-by services is also part of the job but paid additional.

Functie-eisen
• An electrical engineering study with work experience and a bachelor work level.
• Experience in energy automation is a plus, but it is required that they have an affinity for energy technology.
• The ability to understand the relationship between energy technology and automation/security is the golden combination.
• We are not looking for pure software automators, but for people who understand the complexity of energy technology.
• It is of great value if you should be familiar with typical Siemens products and solutions like SIPROTEC, SICAM, Ruggedcom, SCALANCE and Spectrum Power 5. And all their configuration and test tools like DIGSI 4 & 5, Toolbox II, Device Manager, SICAM PTS, OMICRON test universe.
• Relevant IT knowledge is prefered with detailed configuration know how of SCADA systems, especially SICAM PAS and SCC.
• Projects can be applied in The Netherlands, but also abroad. Therefore travelling should be no problem.
• It is a pre if you should have STIPEL Certification on WV, VCA VL and NEN 3140/3840.
• Knowledge of Cyber Security is a pré.
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
Primary employment conditions
- A gross monthly salary of up to €4200
- A 13th month payment, pro-rated periodically
- 8.33% holiday allowance calculated on 12 monthly salaries

You will be seconded for one year via Yacht, with the possibility of being considered for a permanent position at Siemens after this year
